REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have experience with a range of medical device technologies, including surgical devices for spine, knee, ankle as well as robotics-assisted devices and potentially cardiovascular tools. Experience drafting and prosecuting such medical device patent applications (both in the U.S. and worldwide); conducting freedom-to-operate and patentability analyses; performing due diligence; handling patent procurement services, and generally managing patent portfolios is essential.

Ideal candidates will have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in mechanical engineering;
Ph.D. not required. An excellent academic record and strong analytical and writing skills are required. A license in good standing in the resident state and registration before the USPTO are also required.
