Salary: USD
68000 - USD
130000 per annum
Location: Project sites across California, Nevada and Indiana
Salary: $68,250 to $128,000 (DOE) + annual performance bonus
Travel: Up to 100% across US project locations
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
We are working with a leading electrical contractor seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage and substation projects across the US.
The role:- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities across project sites
- Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and test procedures
- Support the commissioning of PV, BESS, substations, SCADA and power conversion systems
- Work closely with project teams, utilities, engineers, OEMs and subcontractors
- Monitor project schedules, documentation and regulatory compliance
- Investigate technical issues and support root cause analysis
- BA or BS degree required
- Electrical Engineering background
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the US
- PV, battery storage or electrical contracting experience preferred
- Knowledge of P6, SCADA, IEC or IEEE standards advantageous
