The San Diego Sharks are seeking an organized, calm‑under‑pressure Game Day Operations Manager to lead all on‑site execution for home games. This role is the backbone of game night, responsible for ensuring every moving part
comes together seamlessly so players, staff, officials, and fans have an
exceptional experience.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all game‑day operations from load‑in through post‑game breakdown
• Manage and coordinate game‑day staff, volunteers, and contractors
• Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for officials, teams, and venue staff
• Ensure timelines, run‑of‑show, and in‑game elements are executed precisely
• Troubleshoot issues in real time and make quick, confident decisions
• Coordinate with production, entertainment, security, and facilities teams
• Maintain a professional, safe, and efficient game environment

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in sports operations, live events, or venue management
  preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to stay composed and solution‑oriented in fast‑paced, high‑pressure settings
• Comfortable managing multiple teams and priorities simultaneously
• Reliable and punctual — must arrive 90 minutes before tip‑off
