Mainly Mozart is seeking multiple qualified individuals to join our Production Support Crew roster
, an on-call team providing paid labor support for concerts, rehearsals, educational programs, donor events, and other organizational activities throughout the season.
We are building a reliable pool of trained crew members who can choose individual shifts based on their availability and interest. This is a flexible, shift-based opportunity that is well suited for individuals interested in live events, performing arts, music, production, hospitality, or event operations

Members of the production crew are independent contractors, not employees, and are therefore ineligible for employee benefits as well as unemployment benefits.
About the RoleProduction Support Crew members assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of Mainly Mozart events. No specialized production experience is required. Most tasks are straightforward, and training and direction will be provided as needed.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Setting up and striking chairs, music stands, and other event equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving production equipment and supplies
- Venue setup and teardown
- Installing signage and event materials
- Hospitality and event setup
- Classroom and rehearsal room setup
- Storage organization and inventory
- General event and production logistics
- Other event support as needed
This is an on-call, shift-based position
. Crew members are not assigned a regular schedule or guaranteed a minimum number of hours
.
Available shifts will be posted throughout the season, and crew members are responsible for reviewing available shifts and signing up for the shifts that fit their availability
. Shifts are generally offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additional shifts may be added throughout the season as event needs arise. Whenever possible, shifts will be posted in advance to allow crew members to plan accordingly.
Signing up for the Production Support Crew does not guarantee that you will receive shifts. Reliability and performance may be considered when determining eligibility for future assignments and larger festival opportunities.
Compensation- $23.00 per hour
- 3-hour minimum for each completed shift
- $10 gas stipend for each completed shift
There is no guarantee of a minimum number of hours or shifts.

- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of event-related tasks
Crew members should be comfortable:
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequently lifting and moving items weighing approximately 40–50 pounds
- Working indoors and outdoors
- Performing repetitive setup and teardown tasks
