The San Diego Symphony Orchestra invites musicians to audition for the Section Viola position. Auditions will take place from March 14 to March 16, 2027. Interested candidates should prepare to submit an online application along with a résumé and a refundable audition deposit, with further details provided in the application process. All applications must be received by the Final date to receive applications, and candidates will be assigned audition times upon submission of a complete application.

The contract covers 42 weeks, which includes 37 playing weeks and 5 vacation weeks. The minimum annual salary for this position is $112,965, along with an additional $3,000 Electronic Media Guarantee.
