Join EY as the Assistant Controller in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) – Integrated Finance Managed Services (IFMS) team.

• Collaborate with Central and Regional IFMS Delivery Executives and the Global Delivery Service (GDS) team to address operational challenges and communicate delivery performance and risks effectively.
• Work with the Service Delivery Executive to monitor service delivery health, identify potential issues early, and drive resolutions for performance deviations or client‑impacting concerns.
• Assist the Commercial Management Office by monitoring scope changes and supporting the resolution of commercial and contract‑related matters.
• Support the general accounting function: monthly and quarterly close activities, journal entries, flux and variance analysis with client teams.
• Coordinate with the EY Technical Accounting Advisory Group on technical accounting matters raised by managed services clients.
• Manage the accounting workstream for clients’ SEC filings, ensuring completeness and accuracy of quarterly and ad‑hoc deliverables.
• Provide day‑to‑day support across finance‑related services: treasury operations, stock‑based compensation tracking, coordination with banks, investment managers, and transfer agents.
• Assist in coordinating payroll services, liaise with client HR on employee benefits and tax reporting compliance.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with clients and external auditors during annual and interim audit processes.
• Contribute to materials for client Audit Committee and Board meetings, supporting the Regional IFMS Controller.
• Administer and maintain EY’s IF systems, including reconciliation and interface monitoring between sub‑ledgers and the general ledger.
• Participate in cross‑functional initiatives: system enhancements, financial process improvements, and ad‑hoc projects in response to client needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline.
• US CPA licensure in your work state.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, focused on financial reporting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and experience in a public company environment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, able to collaborate across teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
• Reliable transportation to EY office and client sites; driver’s license preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Certent, Flo Qast, Active Disclosure, Concur, or Ariba is a plus.
• Experience with SEC filings and audit processes is a plus.
• Experience in a clinical‑stage bioscience or pharmaceutical company is a plus.
