Role DescriptionThe Vice President of Finance & Accounting is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and governance for a private-equity–backed, multi-entity organization with approximately $140M in revenue and 400 employees. This role ensures financial integrity, scalable controls, and meaningful insights to support executive decision-making, operational excellence, and value creation, while serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team in a growth-oriented manufacturing environment.
Responsabilities:- Serve as a trusted financial partner to the CEO and executive team, providing strategic oversight of accounting and reporting while directly managing the Accounting Manager, Cost Accountant, Assistant Controller, and developing a Financial Analyst.
- Set and execute the accounting and finance operating strategy aligned with business objectives and private equity ownership expectations
- Drive EBITDA improvement, cash flow discipline, and working capital efficiency
- Oversee consolidated financial reporting across U.S. entities, with readiness for multi-site and multi-currency operations
- Build and scale a high-performing finance & accounting team
- Strengthen internal controls, ERP systems, and KPI-driven reporting
- Support growth initiatives, including capital investments and M&A readiness
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA a plus)
- 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience
- Experience in private-equity–owned or performance-driven environments strongly preferred
- Proven success supporting companies $75M+ in revenue through growth and scale
- Strong GAAP expertise, operational mindset, and executive presence
