You’ll lead core accounting processes including month‑end close, financial reporting, and revenue management – turning complexity into clarity as the business grows.

If you’re a detail‑driven accountant who thrives in fast‑moving environments and takes pride in building clean, reliable financial systems, this role is for you!

Who You Are
  • A detail‑oriented, analytical accountant with a strong foundation in close, reporting, and revenue accounting
  • Process‑driven and energized by building scalable, repeatable accounting systems
  • Proactive and solutions‑oriented, with a mindset for continuous improvement
  • Comfortable managing complexity while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • A clear communicator who partners effectively with cross‑functional teams and leadership
  • Motivated by using financial insight to support informed business decisions
What You'll Do
  • Support the month‑end close process under the direction of the Controller, preparing monthly reconciliations and financial reports in accordance with established timelines
  • Lead the calculation, analysis, and reporting of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) across all product lines (merchandise and retail), including detailed variance analysis to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities
  • Support inventory valuation and reconciliation to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze COGS performance, including oversight of sample spend, to ensure visibility into cost drivers
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses focused on budgets, trends, and variances, providing real‑time visibility for budget owners and enabling proactive decision‑making
  • Manage budget‑to‑actual reporting for retail and marketing, identifying risks, variances, and areas of opportunity
  • Analyze and report on Accounts Receivable performance, including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), to support cash flow optimization and working capital management
  • Support accounts receivable reconciliation and collection efforts to ensure accuracy and timely receipt
  • Partner with internal and external auditors during the annual audit cycle, providing documentation and support to ensure a smooth audit process

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Hands‑on experience with month‑end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting principles

  • Experience building financial reports and analyses to support business decision‑making
  • Ability to translate complex financial information for non‑finance stakeholders
  • Exposure to financial modeling, forecasting, or budget analysis
  • Experience with corporate credit card programs and expense management tools
  • CPA or progress toward CPA or other relevant professional certification
  • Experience in high‑growth, multi‑entity, or consumer‑facing businesses
