Overview
A self-motivated team player to administer a portfolio of office and retail properties, regarding the compliance of the lease provisions, and serve as Landlord’s liaison with Tenant.

Title:
Lease Administrator.
Salary: $70K - $80K.
Duties- Review of new leases and lease amendments;
Preparation of accurate and detailed lease abstracts including critical dates and financial requirements. - Preparation of Acceptance of Premises, Confirmation of Lease Terms, monthly rent and CPI increase letters, security deposit refunds, and legal documentation for defaults and “Pay or Quit” notices.
- Daily receipt/coding in MRI of rent and other payments.
- Frequent monitoring of Tenant aging report.
- Assisting Tenants with billing issues, account reconciliations and/or audits.
- Lease file organization and maintenance.
- Preparation and input of Tenant ledger adjustments and billbacks into MRI.
- Collection and input of gross sales into MRI.
- Calculation of percentage rent and late fees.
- Preparation of quarterly, semi-annual and annual billings for taxes and insurance.
- Quarterly and annual reconciliation of operating expense recoveries.
- Annual budget entry and calculation of all lease assumptions and revenue for 5-year budgets.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Prior commercial property management experience preferred.
- Experience with MRI accounting and lease administration system a plus.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must pay great attention to detail.
- Must be highly organized, and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Necessary mathematical skills include the ability to compute sum, difference, product, quotient, rate, percent, and reverse operations using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- More than 90% computer use.
