We Do

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our San Diego team as a Relief Escrow Officer. In this role, you will provide best‑in‑class service and support to clients by leveraging industry‑leading technology and partnering with the strongest escrow partners in the business. You will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting that emphasizes customer service and closing deals, requiring exceptional decision‑making skills, strong communication, and the ability to multitask as part of a team.

As an Escrow Officer, you will handle real‑estate transactions by establishing new escrow accounts, managing funds, processing documents for closings, and completing settlements in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position is key to making the dream of home ownership a reality. You must also be able to travel to different offices in the area as part of your responsibilities.

This role is an EO floater in San Diego County, CA.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and monitor and mitigate risk to the company
  • Ensure all funds are properly accounted for and disbursed in accordance with contract terms and company policy
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of the escrow account and provide these reports to the parties involved in the transaction
  • Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents
  • Prepare legal documents for the closure of the sale
  • Complete closing by recording and filing documents, preparing, and distributing final closing statements and title
What You’ll Bring
  • 2–4 years of escrow‑related experience
  • Experience directly handling escrow transactions as an escrow assistant is preferable
  • Openness to new technology and proprietary programs; adapts easily to new workflow
  • Passion for helping customers while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with both internal team and external customers; comfortable using various types of communication to meet customer needs
  • Problem‑solver with strong organizational skills; detail‑oriented; knows how to navigate internal and external resources to resolve issues
  • Thrives in contributing to a team that delivers beyond customer expectations
  • Comfortable guiding and supporting future talent in learning the business
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
  • Valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $26.88 – $35.82 Hourly, Remote
