Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results‑driven and forward‑thinking Project Cost Administrator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will coordinate legal reviews of contracts, set up jobs in Spectrum, review and control project costs, assist with monthly financial forecasts, and prepare progress billing. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify project concerns related to delivery and cost, and with managers to monitor and manage financial performance against monthly forecast and profit plan.

Whatyou’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
- Coordinate contract legal reviews and signatures for a variety of projects, including more complex projects, ensuring that all required documentation is signed and returned to the customer. Coordinate COIs and OCIP/CCIP documentation as required.
- Book new projects and change orders, and notify internal stakeholders of job bookings.
- Monitor job costs, identify anomalies, and provide managers with accurate feedback for effective decision‑making. Assignments are broad and may require high ingenuity and proficiency.
- Conduct monthly WIP reviews with project managers to identify costing issues, billing requirements, and schedule impacts; document status and issues on each project; adjust projected cost as necessary.
- Assist with monthly project billings, ensuring customer documentation requirements are met. Work with project managers to minimize unbilled revenue, and resolve any anomalies or issues with customers and project managers.
- Help project managers and accounts receivable team ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Act as second‑level approver for all project accounts payable invoices.
- Monitor the open PO report weekly, maintain accuracy, and compare to monthly forecast.
- Assist the manager in creating monthly revenue and gross‑margin forecast; monitor and track against forecast.
- Monitor project revenue weekly, report issues to management, and resolve identified issues.
- Manage and track subcontractor invoices against monthly forecast; approve invoices for revenue and payment upon project manager approval.
- Maintain and track subcontractor COIs and lien waivers.
- Review inactive projects monthly for trailing costs and resolve any identified issues.
- Track unbilled revenue weekly and provide reports to management, resolving issues.
- Run labor utilization reports weekly, provide to managers, and resolve issues.
- Run month‑end financial reports and collaborate with management to achieve planned financial results.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to forecast the following month’s revenue and gross margin.
- Prepare and send customer satisfaction surveys monthly.
- Consistently act as “our customer’s best service provider,” ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service.
- Mentor and train less‑experienced staff using technical knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, able to interact with a wide cross‑section of people both internal and external.
