It is by transforming and modernizing our tools in a spirit of operational excellence and innovation that we maintain our industrial know-how. Within the Administrative and Financial Direction, and on a perimeter of Germany, Switzerland, Austria and UK, your missions will be:

• Control of Management:
  Realization of monthly closures + analyses and comments under different axes (distribution channel, P&L lines, direct/indirect costs, variable or fixed costs, comparable perimeter or total area depending on the closures and openings of stores…)
• Construction and piloting of the annual budget and forecasts in collaboration with the operational staff
• Preparation and presentation of monthly business reviews and possible other presentations
• Production and reliability of reports for retail managers & other operational staff to aid decision making
• Accounting:
  In close collaboration with the Shared Service Center (SSC) based in Troyes:
• Work in collaboration with General Accounting on financial closures, financial budgets, annual reports (CAC), tax declarations, valuations of assets and liabilities
• Support of supplier accounting in the reconciliation of the supplier balance, definition of calculation rules of recurrent supplier provisions and calculation of occasional provisions
• Support of customer accounting in the reconciliation of the retail customer balance, calculation of turnover provisions if necessary
• Treasury:
  Contribution to cash flow forecasts and disbursements of the perimeter
• In charge of the relationship with external partners (local banks)

Other recurrent and ad-hoc missions:

• Validation of invoices of the perimeter in the appropriate tool (Baseware)
• Direct and active contribution to projects concerning subsidiaries on the finance side
• Legal/Impôts & Taxes:
  Elaboration of the annual report and various documentation to be provided to CAC in collaboration with the General Accounting Service (SSC), main contact of local auditors and link with the group auditors
• Corporate local interlocutor in charge of ensuring the conformity of various documentations to local legislation requirements (Delegation of power, conservation of archives…)
• Local tax vigilance and collaboration with accounting teams: validation of tax declarations, etc.
• Internal Control:
  Local correspondent for all internal control themes of subsidiaries in close collaboration with the Head of Internal Control Petit Bateau, implementation and improvement of processes in accordance with Group procedures if necessary

Profile sought:
Higher education in Finance, Control of Management, Accounting or Audit (Bac+5 type business school, university or equivalent), you have a successful experience of 3 to 5 years minimum in a similar function, ideally acquired in an international and multi-company environment. You have solid skills in management control as well as a good understanding of accounting and financial mechanisms. Your ability to analyze data, produce reliable reports and formulate relevant recommendations allows you to effectively support operational teams in their decision making.

Rigorous, organized and autonomous, you know how to manage various topics ranging from performance management to accounting, treasury, tax issues or even internal control. Your curiosity, your spirit of initiative and your ability to contribute to cross-functional projects will be major assets to succeed in this position. A current level of English is required to regularly exchange with the different subsidiaries and international partners.
