Position Overview
Supervising Mortgage Loan Officer – San Diego, CA. This producing role leads a small team of mortgage loan officers, manages the daily loan portfolio, recommends loan solutions, and collaborates with stakeholders to close mortgage transactions. Compensation includes base salary and incentive eligibility.
Responsibilities- Recommend loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements.
- Manage daily loan activities of a small, high‑performing Mortgage Loan Officer team.
- Manage a portfolio of customer relationships and seek prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients.
- Prepare loan solutions, review documentation for compliance, and refer other banking products and services.
- Grow, retain, and develop an effective sales force to cover the geography of the market.
- Manage own and team's pipeline for efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
- Collect and analyze customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.
- Minimum university or college degree, or equivalent combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience including military service.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience in mortgage loan origination or a related role.
- Knowledge and competencies:
Banking products, client prospecting, customer relationships, loan documentation, innovation, mortgages, sales competencies, coaching, financial analysis, matrix management. - Effective communication skills and ability to manage risk in accordance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Base salary: $37,440.00 (may vary based on location, market data, and skills). Incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
