Loan Officer Associate
Assists Loan Officers while developing skills and knowledge to become a Loan Officer in the future. Completes various online and classroom educational sessions while receiving operational and hands‑on training.
Your Responsibilities On The Team- Participate in formal training programs covering lending, loan types, creditworthiness, and the loan approval process. Practice pricing and locking loans with manager guidance.
- Complete testing for mortgage licensing and maintain required state licenses. Keep up‑to‑date knowledge of RESPA via continuing education courses.
- Update loan applications with missing data and maintain notes within the Loan Origination System.
- Support business development by participating in builder and realtor functions and working with Division Managers on local marketing campaigns.
- Serve as primary contact for borrowers, responding to phone, email, or chat inquiries and scheduling meetings with Loan Officers.
- Assist processors and closers in obtaining loan documents and assist internal associates through various communication channels. Flexible schedule, weekends and evenings considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent (BA or BS preferred).
- Mortgage or banking experience (preferred).
- Experience articulating product or service features, benefits, and value.
- Passion for customer satisfaction and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
The base compensation is an hourly rate of $19.36 to $21, subject to adjustment based on qualifications and business factors.
- Position may be eligible for bonuses.
