Senior Tax Analyst – Finance & Accounting Group, Tax

Location:

San Diego, CA. This role requires full‑time onsite work (5 days per week).

This role is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.

• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and supporting schedules related to international operations, including GILTI/NCTI, Subpart F, FDDEI, and foreign tax credits (FTC).
• Build and maintain complex tax models to quantify the tax cost or savings of business plans and tax projects.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate changes in U.S. and foreign tax laws and regulations; quantify and model the impacts of legislative developments.
• Support the international tax aspects of the tax compliance process.
• Drive tax process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency, automation, and technology adoption.
• Support additional projects and ad‑hoc analyses, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
• 3–5years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational company.
• Experience with tax software (One Source preferred).
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Master’s degree in taxation, CPA preferred.
• Experience in tax planning and international tax in public accounting and/or multinational companies.
• Ability to work independently on tax research projects and document conclusions under the direction of senior tax team members.
• Team‑oriented, with the ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment and strong influencing and communication skills.

Pay range: $88,000.00–$ for the location. Additional compensation includes a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants. Our benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.
