We are seeking an Associate to join our Investment & Capital Markets team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Investment & Capital Markets, this person will play a hands-on role in structuring, executing, and closing project finance transactions across our utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) development pipeline.

This is an early-career, high-impact position on a lean, fast-moving team. The Associate will work directly on live transactions, building financial models, supporting investor and lender diligence, preparing investment committee materials, and coordinating across legal, development, and engineering teams to bring projects to financial close. We are looking for someone who is analytically rigorous, intellectually curious, and eager to grow with the company as we scale.

• Support end-to-end execution of project finance transactions, including construction debt, term debt, tax equity (partnership flip, preferred equity, tax credit transfers), and other structured capital products for solar PV-hybrid and BESS projects.
• Assist in preparing and distributing financing packages, responding to lender and investor due diligence requests, and coordinating third-party consultant reports (independent engineer, insurance, legal, environmental).
• Track transaction timelines and critical path milestones; manage internal and external work streams to keep closings on schedule.
• Review and redline term sheets, credit agreements, and financing documents in collaboration with legal counsel and senior team members.
• Build, maintain, and stress-test project-level financial models for solar PV-hybrid and BESS assets, including construction-period draws, operating cash flows, debt sizing and sculpting, tax equity structures, and sponsor equity returns.
• Develop and run scenario and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions, financing strategy, and lender negotiations.
• Support valuation and bid pricing for development-stage and operating project acquisitions.
• Maintain model integrity and version control across an active transaction pipeline.
• Prepare high-quality investment committee memoranda, lender presentations, and financing marketing materials at key transaction milestones (NTP, financial close, refinancing).
• Support preparation of board-level and investor reporting related to the capital investment portfolio.
• Assist with lender compliance reporting, including borrowing-base certificates, covenant monitoring, and periodic draw requests.
• Prepare high-quality monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership, the Board, investors, and lenders.
• Manage loan compliance and periodic reporting to lenders and investors, including borrowing-base monitoring, and timely submission of required deliverables.
• Produce investor decks, KPI dashboards, and management reporting that clearly communicate financial and operating performance.
• Support due diligence, financing processes, and lender/sponsor reporting requirements.
• Monitor capital markets activity in the renewable energy sector, including tax equity investor appetite, debt pricing trends, ITC/PTC developments, and emerging financing structures for BESS.
• Support early-stage financial assessment of new development opportunities, including project screening, capital stack optimization, and return analysis.
