Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Company Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream:
To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started:
Improving human health.
We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions.
We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.
Meet the team:
Dexcom’s Strategic Finance team helps shape the company’s long-term growth agenda by translating complex business questions into clear, data-driven financial insights.
As Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance, you will play a key role in long-range planning, M&A financial modeling, and enterprise-wide strategic analysis—partnering across Finance, Corporate Development, Commercial, Product, Market Access, and executive leadership to evaluate where Dexcom goes next and how we get there.
Where you come in:
You will build, maintain, and enhance global long-range planning models, including revenue, margin, market expansion, pricing, penetration, utilization, and retention assumptions.
You will consolidate inputs across regions, functions, and business leaders into a unified financial view that supports executive-level planning discussions.
You will develop dynamic financial models for strategic opportunities, including M&A transactions, valuation, accretion/dilution, scenario analysis, and synergy modeling.
You will support due diligence efforts by analyzing financials, validating KPIs, pressure-testing assumptions, and identifying key risks and opportunities.
You will evaluate new products, market entry opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments through business case modeling and sensitivity analysis.
You will translate complex analyses into clear, executive-ready insights, recommendations, and materials for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
You will partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Market Access, Corporate Development, and Finance teams to align assumptions and drive consistent decision-making.
You will improve forecasting accuracy, model scalability, transparency, and auditability through automation, dashboards, and finance best practices.
What makes you successful:
You bring advanced financial modeling skills, including operating models, valuation, DCF analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
You are highly proficient in Excel and can build models that are accurate, scalable, transparent, and easy for business partners to understand.
You have experience supporting strategic planning, long-range planning, corporate development, investment banking, or other finance-driven decision processes.
You are comfortable working with ambiguity and can structure complex business questions into clear analytical frameworks.
You communicate clearly and can translate detailed financial analysis into concise insights for senior leadership.
You are a strong cross-functional partner who can align stakeholders around assumptions, tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities.
Your experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, market sizing, competitive intelligence, healthcare, medtech, M&A diligence, or post-merger integration is a plus.
What you’ll get:
A front row seat to life changing CGM…
