Major duties include managing an Investment Services group, conducting performance management, providing input for staffing and disciplinary actions, managing investment activities for major fee revenue producing accounts, developing and directing investment programs, analyzing and planning investment strategies, maintaining presence within the local client facing team, demonstrating mastery with new investment strategies, engaging in thought leadership, adhering to best practices, executing initiatives, providing feedback to leadership, and serving on investment services committees.

Knowledge required includes investment and portfolio management theory, accounting and financial principles, investment strategies and instruments, investment terminology, laws and regulations governing trust investments, internal investment policies, decision making, sales, and negotiating skills.

Experience required includes minimum 10 to 12 years of investment experience.

Salary range is $189, USD. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
