Associate Wealth Advisor

• Support Wealth Advisor in delivering exceptional services to clients, with potential to lead less complex client relationships.
• Provide advanced capability of all wealth, investment, and financial planning processes.
• Begin to prepare and make recommendations for client financial plans, investments, and portfolio allocations.
• Assist in preparation for client meetings, document discussions, and drive client follow‑up.
• Mentor others and provide oversight of work.
• Act as a secondary advisor, progressing to greater independence related to client execution items and ultimately client relationship management and independent decisions.
• Understand client contracts, fee schedules, and onboarding process.
• Develop solid/active relationships with COI peers and provide critical support to client team revenue.

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4–8 years of experience; CFP, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA required.
• Advanced knowledge of financial planning concepts and processes.
• Experience with Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, Docu Sign, Microsoft Suite, and Planning Software.
• Ability to develop others, manage relationships, and practice management.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and organization skills.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• High emotional intelligence and situational awareness.
• Proactive approach and ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.

Position exempt, paid according to the laws of the State of California. Pay range: $80,000–$155,700 USD per year.

Work in an office environment, prolonged sitting at a desk, use of a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Required onsite 4 days per week.

Must be 18 years or older and have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents; E‑Verify is used after acceptance of an offer. Candidates must be willing to execute Corient's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non‑Disclosure Agreement.
