Summary:

** Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support the analysis, modeling, and execution of global tax planning initiatives.
** This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week).
**** This role is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.
** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and supporting schedules related to international operations, including GILTI/NCTI, Subpart F, FDDEI, and foreign tax credits (FTC).
* Build and maintain complex tax models to quantify the tax cost or savings of business plans and tax projects.
* Monitor, analyze, and communicate changes in U.S. and foreign tax laws and regulations; quantify and model the impacts of legislative developments.
* Support the international tax aspects of tax compliance process.
* Drive tax process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency, automation, and technology adoption.
* Support additional projects and ad hoc analyses, as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
* 3 - 5 years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational company
* Experience with tax software (One Source preferred)
* Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word Preferences:
* Master’s degree in taxation, CPA preferred
* Experience in tax planning and international tax in public accounting and/or multinational companies
* Ability to work independently on tax research projects and document conclusions under the direction of senior tax team members
* Team-oriented, with the ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment and strong influencing and communication skills

* • Bachelor's degree.  
• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
