Lending Compliance Officer
Compensation: $78,000 - $98,000 annually
Actual compensation within this range will bedeterminedby factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.

, you’ll serve as the go-to expert on lending regulations, ensuring we stay ahead of evolving requirements while protecting the organization and our members. You’ll work across real estate, consumer, and indirect lending—helping the business operate confidently, compliantly, and efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Lead with expertise
:
Serve as the primary advisor on federal and state lending regulations, guiding business decisions with confidence. - Drive compliance strategy
:
Support and enhance our lending compliance management program, including regulatory change management and risk assessments. - Monitor & test
:
Conduct risk-based reviews, loan file audits, and transaction testing using data-driven methods. - Strengthen controls
:
Identify gaps, assess control effectiveness, and recommend improvements to mitigate risk. - Turn insights into action
:
Analyze findings, identify trends and root causes, and deliver clear recommendations to leadership. - Own issue resolution
:
Manage remediation efforts from identification through validation of corrective actions. - Ensure regulatory accuracy
:
Review loan documentation and disclosures (TRID, ECOA, FCRA, TILA, RESPA, etc.) for compliance. - Support HMDA & fair lending
:
Oversee data integrity, reporting, and monitoring for potential risk patterns. - Partner with auditors & regulators
:
Serve as a key liaison during exams and audits, ensuring smooth coordination and communication. - Influence the business
:
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement improvements, enhance controls, and drive continuous compliance excellence.
What You'll Bring
- Experience
: 5+ years in compliance, audit, or risk (financial services preferred) - Expertise
:
Strong knowledge of lending regulations and compliance frameworks - Analytical mindset
:
Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and solve problems - Influence & collaboration
:
Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and guide decisions - Communication skills
:
Able to translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable insights - Technical skills
:
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with LOS systems, QA tools, and data platforms (Power BI a plus)
