Mid-Level & Senior M&A & Emerging​/Venture Capital Associate

Overview

• The role involves taking a leading role in sophisticated M&A transactions, advising emerging and established companies, investors, strategics, and other market participants on a broad range of strategic transactions, capital market and/or venture capital financings, and general corporate matters.
• Candidates are required to have experience in M&A, corporate governance, capital markets, and/or venture capital.

Sidley's San Diego office is seeking mid-level and senior associates to join its M&A and Emerging Company / Venture Capital practices. Candidates will take a leading role in sophisticated M&A transactions and advise emerging and established companies, investors, strategics, and other market participants on a broad range of strategic transactions, capital market and/or venture capital financings, and general corporate matters. Candidates should have 3+ years of M&A, corporate governance, capital markets and/or venture capital experience.

Candidates must be admitted in good standing to the California bar.

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. The target salary range for this role is below. Our compensation package also includes bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits program. Benefits information can be found here.

Target Salary Range $260,000 - $390,000
