Analyst, Private Equity Primaries

Aksia is looking for an Analyst or Associate to join their Private Equity team in San Diego. This role focuses on private equity primary fund investments, especially in North America. You’ll work closely with senior professionals and be involved in various aspects of the investment process, from due diligence to portfolio monitoring.

• Conduct thorough due diligence on private equity funds
• Prepare investment memorandums for the Investment Committee
• Collaborate with the co-investment team on sourcing opportunities
• Monitor market trends and macroeconomic factors
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
• Build relationships with general partners in the industry

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
• 1-4 years of experience in an investment firm or financial institution
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• High initiative and intellectual curiosity
