Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
- Experience working with Standard Accounting and Budget Reporting System (SABRS), Command Financial Management System (CFMS), Purchase Request Form (PRF), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) programs, and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) or similar programs.
- Experience reviewing and reconciling financial statements in compliance with federal laws, regulations and requirements.
- Experience mentoring subordinates and working well and coordinating with other departments contributing to a team atmosphere.
- Experience presenting and defending budget estimates before higher authorities, reviewing and evaluating budget request, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.
This position is within the Work Category SUPERVISION & MANAGEMENT at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0501-12.
