Role:
Associate Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, focusing on enterprise-wide financial planning, executive reporting, and strategic support.
- leading annual budgets
- long-range plans
- quarterly forecasts
- preparing executive presentations
- consolidating financial data
- supporting quarterly close activities
- conducting scenario analyses
- acting as the primary finance partner for G&A functions—Information Systems & Informatics, Finance, Legal, and People Services—and supporting company-wide planning processes.
- collaboration extends to Clinical, Commercial, Partnership, and Operations Finance, with a focus on process improvements and system enhancements for FP&A tools like Anaplan.
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related
- 10+ years FP&A experience with at least 5 years in leadership
- proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and FP&A planning systems
- strong communication and analytical skills
- understanding of US GAAP
- self-starter in fast-paced environments
- CPA/MBA
- experience supporting clinical-stage biotech/pharma R&D
- Anaplan
- clinical trial software
- BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Location:
Pasadena or San Diego, CA, onsite five days/week.
