• Execute comprehensive credit underwriting for new, renewal, and modification commercial loan requests, ensuring alignment with the bank’s credit policy and regulatory standards.
• Conduct financial analysis, including spreading corporate and personal financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow modeling (such as DSC, global cash flow, and sensitivity analysis).
• Prepare credit presentations, clearly evaluating borrower financial performance, industry risk and trends, risk mitigants, and collateral adequacy for presentation to Credit Administration.
• Proactively manage and service an assigned portfolio of existing commercial relationships, maintaining asset quality and minimizing credit risk.
• Execute ongoing portfolio management, including completing annual loan reviews, validating and tracking reporting and financial covenants, updating credit risk grades, and resolving collateral or documentation exceptions.
• Monitor delinquency and past-due reports, taking action to address early-warning signs of credit deterioration, and partnering with Special Assets or senior credit leadership when necessary.

• Partner with Commercial Bankersto identify loan opportunities and to help with structuring and pricing credit facilities.
• Prepare preflight summaries and facilitate discussions with Credit Administration to gauge risk appetite early in the deal cycle.
• Serve as a knowledgeable secondary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional customer service and assisting in expanding, building, and retaining key commercial relationships.

• Ensure strict compliance with all internal banking policies, credit guidelines, and federal and state lending regulations.
• Perform other strategic duties, project-level risk assessments, or departmental tasks as assigned to support overall business line objectives.

• Education & Experience:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, combined with8+ yearsof experience in commercial lending, underwriting, credit analysis, and portfolio or relationship management. An equivalent combination of education and directly related corporate banking experience may be considered.
• Credit & Risk Analysis:
  
  Advanced knowledge of commercial loan types, credit analysis and underwriting, including the analysis of financial statements, cash flow analysis, collateral valuations, risk-rating methodologies, and loan documentation.
• Financial Spreading:
  
  Proven expertise in spreading business tax returns and financial statements, and personal tax returns and personal financial statements of guarantors.
• Regulatory & Policy Compliance:
  
  Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state banking regulations, commercial lending procedures, and strict adherence to internal credit policies.
