Job ProfileThe company is searching for an Investment Consultant to join its team.
Education Level- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (required)
- Financial business development experience (highly preferred)
- Knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
- Strong client relationship-building experience
- A valid and active Series 7 license (required)
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment)
- A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained within 120 days of employment)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification (preferred)
- Build a foundation for a future role as a Financial Consultant.
- Collaborate and receive mentorship to improve service delivery.
- Learn and grow within Schwab’s Branch Network.
- Make proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients.
- Observe and learn from experienced Financial Consultants.
- Perform needs-based analysis to uncover client opportunities.
- Recommend appropriate financial products and solutions.
