• Marijuana remains illegal under federal law as a Schedule I drug in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), meaning any use of marijuana is illegal under federal law, regardless of state and local governments legalizing or decriminalizing uses of marijuana. This applies to recreational marijuana use, medical marijuana use, as well as use of cannabidiol (CBD) products. Adherence to federal laws prohibiting marijuana use is evaluated in the security process.
  
  The use of marijuana can raise security concerns about an individual’s reliability and trustworthiness to access classified information or hold a sensitive position. Prospective national security workforce employees should refrain from any future marijuana use upon initiation of the national security vetting process.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our internal corporate finance operations. In this role, you will work closely with the finance team to assist with core accounting functions and financial administrative support.

Key responsibilities include performing account reconciliations, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, supporting payroll preparation, maintaining accurate up-to-date ledger accounts, assisting with job cost accounting, preparing project financial reports, and contributing to monthly financial status reporting.
