Role:
Environmental Health Safety Specialist responsible for supporting EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe work environment.

• Conduct routine EHS inspections and audits and follow through on identified remedial actions.
• Support incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Assist with maintaining relevant EHS documentation including training records, inspections records, etc.
• Coordinate hazardous waste pickups and documentation.
• Provide EHS training to new and existing employees.
• Support risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations.
• Assist in maintaining EHS management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with other functions to address EHS concerns.
• Support emergency response and evacuation drills.
• Support and participate in EHS campaigns and activities.
• Serve as the EHS business partner to assigned functional unit(s); supporting EHS programs including but not limited to EHS change management.
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field.
• Certifications such as HAZWOPER, OSHA 30, etc., are a plus or ability to obtain them within 3 years of hire.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of EHS experience in regulated environments (medical device, pharma, or biotech preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in leading EHS programs.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and EHS systems preferred.
