Entry level - Biochemist - Protein Conjugation

• Full-time

· General knowledge of biochemistry, protein chemistry, or related disciplines.

· Hands-on experience with basic bioconjugation reactions (e.g., maleimide/thiol) and purification techniques.

· Familiarity with routine laboratory instruments and applicable software.

· Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to follow established policies and procedures.

· Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure timely delivery.

· Ability to maintain neat, accurate, and complete batch records.

· Capable of training others effectively.

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in a biological science discipline.

· At least 2 years of relevant experience in protein conjugation.

· Ability to perform conjugation processes accurately and independently, with a solid understanding of techniques and background.

· Must learn and execute standard and custom protein conjugation methods independently.

· Will collaborate with application testing scientists and dye chemists to evaluate conjugate performance.

· Technical skills include operation of pipettes, spectrophotometers, fluorimeters, pumps, fraction collectors, water baths, and chromatography systems (FPLC, ion exchange, SEC) and ultrafiltration.
