RN Supervisor, Patient Care - PACU - Green La Jolla

Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.

This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla. This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) at the Supervisor level.

What You'll Do

• Ensure nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.
• Under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans.
• Ensure the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills

• Two years applicable clinical experience, one of which in a leadership role.
• Current California RN license

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification

• BSN and/or certification in area of specialty if applicable.
• CNOR certificate

Position Pay Range: $63.50-$91.97/hour
