Speech-Language Pathologist – Full Time – San Diego, CA Area
Join our team and start making a difference! Ensign Services affiliates are seeking a Full Time Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our in‑house therapy team. We are operating 15 skilled nursing and post‑acute rehab facilities throughout the San Diego area and are continuing to grow. Our team is stable, fun, and clinically excellent, and we work with a wide variety of patients to help them return to home and their regular activities.

Experience / QualificationsLicensed Speech‑Language Pathologist. This position is open to SLPs at all experience levels.
Responsibilities- Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness; modify services in relation to patient evaluation and make referrals as needed.
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
- Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.
