Overview
The Part‑Time Speech and Language Pathologist provides specialized assessments, diagnoses, and therapy for students aged 5‑22 with severe behavioral and developmental needs in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations of students’ speech, language, and related communication needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Deliver therapy in various settings, including in‑class and functional environments.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- California licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
- Experience with children who have complex and developmental needs.
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, behavioral interventions, and trauma‑informed practices.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Familiarity with AAC systems.
- Competitive pay ($50‑$70/hr).
