Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with current regulations and guidance for payroll, including DoD FMR.
- Ensure all actions necessary to process payroll are complete and accurate for each pay period.
- Maintain appropriate documentation to fully support audit requirements.
- Resolve payroll related issues that require complex account reconciliation and effective interaction with DFAS, the Payroll Office, Office of Civilian Human Resources, and local Human Resource staff.
- Ensure a completed and signed Authorizing / Certifying Officer Designation Form and training certificates are on file prior to establishing approval rights and relationships in Navy ERP.
- Provide Navy ERP Workforce Management, Time Management, training, and user support to NAVWAR HQ and PEO employees.
- Provide customer service by responding to customer inquiries within one (1) business day and monitoring the inquiry until the issue is resolved.
- Apply working knowledge of laws, regulations and DoD FMR pertaining to time and attendance and payroll.
- Effectively navigate applicable software and systems, such as DCPS, Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), Microsoft applications, and Navy ERP Workforce Management.
- Associate's degree.
- At least 2 years' experience processing and supporting payroll functions in a DoD/Navy environment.
- Experience with Navy ERP and DFAS.
- Active Secret or above clearance.
Salary: $67,650 - $75,200 in alignment with education and experience.
