Overview
Welcome aboard VSSL. It’s pronounced “vessel”, but we’re more than a ship—we’re a fast, agile digital agency of brand builders, campaign makers, website creators, and more. Our mission is to set the course for our clients, creating bold digital marketing experiences that propel brands to success. Our crew brings strategy, spirit, and loyalty to the challenge of helping clients stand out in today’s aggressive, crowded, and fast-changing digital world.
And that’s exactly what we’re looking for in our next crew member.
We are looking for a Technical Implementation Specialist to join our crew on a contract basis. This is a junior-to-mid-level role for someone who is technically savvy, obsessed with the details, and loves "under the hood" configuration. You aren’t just a coder; you’re the person who ensures the digital engine is tuned, the pipes are connected, and everything works exactly as it should.
Whatthe Technical Implementation Specialist Does
As a contractor, your focus is on precision and execution. You will support our tech and account teams by managing the technical backbone of our marketing efforts.

- Hub Spot Configuration: Update website content, build landing pages, and manage forms. While you won t be building complex backend workflows, you will be responsible for ensuring the front-end experience is perfect.

- Light Coding: While this isn t a "Full Stack" role, you should be comfortable with HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript to tweak layouts or fix styling issues on the fly.
- Quality Assurance: You are the final line of defense. You’ll test links, forms, and responsive views to ensure a flawless user experience before anything goes live.
We are looking for someone with high technical aptitude who is eager to master the VSSL workflow.
- Platform Proficiency: Practical experience managing Word Press (back-end and front-end) and Hub Spot (website, landing pages, and emails).
- The
Languages:
Comfort with HTML and CSS is a must. A basic understanding of JavaScript or PHP (for Word Press) is a major plus. - Attention to Detail: You’re the type of person who notices a 1px misalignment or a broken redirect from a mile away.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You don t get frustrated when a plugin breaks; you enjoy the "detective work" of finding out why.
- Proactive Communication: You keep the team updated on progress and flag potential technical roadblocks before they become "emergencies."
- Source Control & IDEs: Familiarity with Git/Git Hub for version control and VS Code (or similar IDEs) for maintaining a clean, professional development workflow.
