- Assist in supporting and troubleshooting network connectivity for remote locations using DSL, cable modem, and other broadband technologies.
- Help monitor, configure, and maintain network and security equipment, including Sonic Wall and Cisco Meraki devices.
- Support basic network security tasks such as reviewing firewall rules, VPN connectivity, and traffic logs.
- Assist with identifying and resolving network performance or security-related issues, escalating as needed.
- Perform basic network traffic inspection and troubleshooting to support incident response and investigations.
- Coordinate with internet service providers (ISPs) and vendors for connectivity or service issues.
- Support deployment, replacement, and upgrades of network and security equipment at remote and corporate locations.
- Maintain documentation related to network configurations, security controls, and troubleshooting steps.
- Follow established security policies, procedures, and best practices within the Information Security department.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance, limited on-call support, or after-hours work as required.
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support, networking, or a related technical role (internships and hands‑on lab experience acceptable).
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Basic routing, VLANs, and VPN concepts.
- Familiarity with network or security devices such as firewalls, switches, or wireless access points.
- Basic understanding of network security principles and secure connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to both technical and non‑technical users.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to remote ACE Parking locations.
- Exposure to Sonic Wall, Cisco Meraki, or similar network/security platforms.
- Coursework, labs, or certifications such as Network+, CCNA (or in progress).
- Interest in pursuing a career in network security or information security.
- Experience supporting environments with multiple remote or retail‑style locations.
- Role includes a combination of remote support and on‑site work.
- Travel to remote ACE Parking locations across multiple states may be required based on operational or security needs.
