Artemis Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Developer to support the Department of Navy and the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) programs in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will work at the intersection of data analytics, data engineering, and consulting. You will partner directly with government stakeholders to improve processes, automate workflows, and develop scalable data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data‑driven decision making.

This role requires the ability to work independently while managing direct tasking and communication with government stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a data‑driven problem solver passionate about leveraging technology to create meaningful outcomes. In this role, you will provide analysis and consulting to help support government clients with a wide range of data‑related challenges from measuring risk to optimizing financial decisions and strengthening data management approaches. You will develop, build, and implement tools and solutions such as databases and applications to automate common processes, streamline decentralized data collection, write queries for effective data isolation, and create user forms that provide intuitive user interfaces.

You will apply data mining, modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. You will create dynamic data reports to visualize, interpret, and communicate findings effectively.

This is a hybrid position based in San Diego, CA
, requiring onsite support at NAVWAR and the Artemis office as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS)
• Six (6) or more years of experience in data analytics, data science, data engineering, data structures, data systems development, and/or relevant consulting experience
• Existing or the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
• Experience with software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts.

• Experience with synthesizing multiple sources of input, including .txt, .csv, and .xlsx files, and performing data transformation routines to organize and manage data for analysis
