Position: Senior Linux System Administrator - Secret Cleared with Security Clearance
Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a government contractor, working onsite in San Diego, CA. An active secret clearance and the ability to work onsite in Point Loma is required for consideration This is a contract to hire opportunity with a great client that is looking to move quickly! Essential Duties of the Senior Linux System Administrator:
* Provide guidance for directing/monitoring information systems

* Install, configure and maintain Linux operating systems

* Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions

* Monitor and respond to hardware, software and network problems

* Manage the purchase, testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN systems Qualifications of the Senior Linux System Administrator:
* Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field is required

* 4+ years relevant technical experience required

* Security + cert required

* Minimum Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret
Compensation for the Senior Linux System Administrator: * $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
