Senior Linux System Administrator - Secret Cleared

Overview

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a government contractor, working onsite in San Diego, CA
. An active secret clearance and the ability to work onsite in Point Loma is required for consideration. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a great client that is looking to move quickly!

• Provide guidance for directing/monitoring information systems
• Install, configure and maintain Linux operating systems
• Analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions
• Monitor and respond to hardware, software and network problems
• Manage the purchase, testing, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/MAN/WAN systems

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field is required
• 4+ years relevant technical experience required
• Security + cert required
• Minimum Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret

• $100,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
