DevSecOps Engineer IV

Sigma Defense is seeking a highly skilled Dev Sec Ops  Engineer IV to join our team in San Diego, CA.

• 3+ years of experience with a Linux operating system
• CANES Admin Fleet (Navy) experience
• Systems admin experience in a Navy setting
• Jenkins experience preferred, but Git Lab pipelines are acceptable
• Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments
• Demonstrated experience managing software version control and software source code base
• Demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework
• Experience building containerized systems using Docker and/or Podman
• ACS experience is preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Security+ (or equivalent)

• Linux
• Red Hat
• Fedora

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher
• Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate

• VCP, Sec+, Net+, and or CISSP certifications
• Close proximity to the San Diego, CA facility

• Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes to build new containers, systems, and environments
• Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols
• Utilize Dev Ops tools to ensure the code compiles and passes any tests
• Develop and execute regression test scripts to verify system functionality

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually.
