Title:
Senior Product Support Logistics Specialist K 's Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of Defense, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Support Logistics Specialist to join our team in NAS North Island, San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of military logistics, data management, and operational support, with a proven track record of supporting large-scale programs like the US Navy MEASURE/METCAL program. This role involves providing expert logistical analysis, ensuring data integrity across complex systems, and leading support efforts to maintain operational readiness and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide specialized logistical analysis and technical support for product and system operations.
* Manage and maintain the integrity of large-scale databases, performing research, error correction, and data reconciliation.
* Conduct technical analysis of program systems, document findings, and provide engineering details for continuous improvement.
* Develop, test, and implement new processes, applications, and software to enhance program quality and efficiency.
* Serve as a subject matter expert and primary liaison between technical teams, program users, and government/military stakeholders.
* Lead and supervise fleet support teams, overseeing projects, supervising department personnel, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
* Develop and update training materials, user procedures, and official program documentation.
* Provide on-call assistance and training to end-users for problem resolution and operational support.
* Strong proficiency in logistical analysis, data management, and operational standardization.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SQL Database tools.
Basic Qualifications
* Clearance & Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have an active Secret Clearance.
* Education:
High School Diploma (BS/BA degree preferred).
* Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in product support logistics, data management, or a related field.
Experience with the US Navy MEASURE/METCAL program or similar military logistics systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising, training, and leading teams.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quality assurance skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Scheduled Weekly
Hours:
40 hours/week. Compensation: $,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: K may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
