Penske Automotive Group is looking for an experienced IT Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA and help support the infrastructure of our technical organization.

As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for assisting employees with questions on the usage of technology and for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks.

Pay for this position is $29 - $32 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide onsite support for approximately 1,500 computers, peripherals, desk phones, and smartphones within a Windows AD, Azure, and Cisco environment.
  • Manage equipment lifecycle processes, including ordering, imaging, deployment, asset tracking, and electronics disposal.
  • Perform primarily hands‑on technical support, partnering with a dedicated helpdesk team that resolves remote issues.
  • Collaborate with helpdesk, systems, network, and security teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and execute multiple initiatives concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • Work independently to ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and updated in a timely manner.
