Scrum Master – ONSITE

We are currently seeking a Scrum Master – ONSITE to join our team in San Diego, California (US-CA), United States (US).

• Manage each project’s scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints, retrospectivity meetings and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
• Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

• 5+ Years Experience in a scrum master role
• 5+ Years of experience in software development
• Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field

• Scrum master certification and mentoring of junior team members
• SVN, Git, Gradle version control experience, Bitbucket
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $78,948 - $164,476. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
