Position Overview
Business Solution Architect – Senior Level
Contract (W2) – 5+ months, 40 hours per week, 1st shift. Work hours 8‑5 PM PST.
Location:
San Diego, CA (remote only for the right candidate). U.S. citizenship or eligible work status required.
- Accountable for high‑level project scope, including defining epics, features, and capabilities.
- Ensure impacts of design decisions are broadly understood and supported.
- Author and analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and address those gaps.
- Identify system integration points that impact project LOE and team resources.
- Create and maintain technical project artifacts such as business process flow charts, as‑is/to‑be architecture diagrams, user requirements, data migration plans, testing strategy, and job aids.
- Lead option analysis and pros/cons discussions to drive critical decision making.
- Proactively identify technical project risks and mitigation plans.
- Understand technology and project dependencies; raise technical risks and mitigations.
- Keep up to date with technology and industry trends and communicate impact to the technology roadmap.
- Partner with Product Managers to develop business cases, drive IT governance, and long‑term technology roadmap strategy.
- Collaborate with CX & UX Designers, developers, and Product Owners during workshops, detailed requirements, and execution phases.
- Provide tier IV support for complex production issues, identify infrastructure needs, and ensure system stability.
- Support change management initiatives to ensure successful technology adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (equivalent work experience accepted).
- 7+ years’ experience in (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Communities Cloud) and/or SAP (ECC/CRM, S/4 HANA, BRIM) or comparable service‑focused enterprise applications.
- 7+ years translating stakeholder requests into enterprise technical requirements.
- Strong experience with business process mapping for new and existing functionality.
- Experience with FICA, BRIM (subscription order management, convergent mediation, convergent invoicing) a plus.
- Experience working with both Agile and traditional waterfall project management teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience in a sales and/or service organization; experience within a medical device or regulated industry a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Early adopter of technology, capable of learning and adapting efficiently.
- Must be able to travel to San Diego, CA for office days (Tuesdays) or fully remote if the candidate meets the skillset.
- Candidate must be able to work within the specified 8‑5 PM PST hours.
- U.S. citizenship or legal work status (GC Holders, GC EAD, OPT, EAD, CPT) required.
