Principal Technical Product Manager R5249 - Shield AI

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Shield AI’s autonomous aircraft and Hivemind software, aligning with strategic defense objectives.
• Collaborate with senior engineering, data science, and operations teams to translate complex technical capabilities into market‑ready features.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, validate concepts, and ensure product success in high‑stakes environments.
• Lead cross‑functional releases, prioritizing features, managing backlogs, and driving on‑time delivery while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
• Advise the CTO and executive leadership on product strategy, market trends, and emerging technologies in defense AI.

• 10+ years of product management experience in high‑technology or defense sectors, with a proven track record of launching complex software and hardware products.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML, autonomous systems, and their application in mission‑critical environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of influencing senior executives and technical teams.
• Experience with agile development, road‑mapping, and data‑driven decision making.
