Highly skilled SAP Commerce Cloud Platform Architect with deep technical expertise in solutions, development, and enhancement of SAP Commerce Platform. Designs custom solutions and integrations with internal and third‑party systems, servers, and storage to deliver end‑to‑end backend capabilities.
Role OverviewJoin our eCommerce team as a SAP Commerce Cloud architect for a key client in the consumer electronics industry. Focus on enhancing backend capabilities and extending the platform with robust architecture, leveraging SAP Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud (version 2211+). Provide consulting on eCommerce platform strategy, adoption plans, and application design. Familiarity with SAP Commerce and other eCommerce platforms, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS is desired.
Key Responsibilities- Platform Architecture
:
Lead the architecture and design of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements. - Architecture Strategy
:
Develop and implement architecture strategies that leverage SAP Commerce Cloud. - Integration Strategy
:
Ensure seamless integration across systems, focusing on data flow, security, and process automation. - Technical Solutions & Code Quality
:
Set and enforce coding standards and code quality; conduct code reviews and mentor developers. - Stakeholder Engagement
:
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Consultation
:
Provide expert‑level consultation on leveraging SAP Commerce platform capabilities, design customization, and advising on best practices, risks, and future enhancements.
- At least 10 years of architect experience, leading multi‑channel eCommerce architecture and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with mid‑to large‑scale B2C Hybris eCommerce sites and integrated SAP Commerce Cloud with third‑party systems (5–7 integration projects).
- Proficiency in Java Enterprise and web technologies.
- Expertise in Hybris architecture, system integration, development, and package implementation across multiple technologies.
- Strong background in e‑commerce data modeling (products, catalogs, storefronts, customers, orders, cart, Solr, API).
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders; convert business requirements into Hybris technical requirements.
- SAP Commerce Architect certification is a plus.
Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 per year.
