Position: Cloud Architect - TS/SCI clearance with Security Clearance
This position will require an active DOD security clearance. This role is tied to anticipated funding. While final approval is pending, we are actively building a pipeline of qualified candidates so we can move quickly once funding is in place. About the role:

In this role, you will help transform robotics autonomous system (RAS) integration and sensor produced data into a cloud-enabled, distributed data and decision platform aligned to warfighter needs. Enabling orchestrated software, real-time data fusion, and operational decision advantage across the fleet and partner forces. This role sits at the center of one of the Navy's most important transitions: transitioning from platform-centric ISR to a cloud-enabled, distributed operational capability supporting maritime kill chains.

You will design and implement cloud architectures that enable tactical control and advanced computer applications to operate across edge, tactical, and enterprise environments, supporting degraded comms, mosaic warfare tactical and up-echelon data operations, and real-time mission execution. Day-to-day, you'll work with engineers, operators, and government stakeholders to:
* Architect and orchestrate antifragile cloud-native, multi-cloud, and hybrid solutions
* Enable rapid Dev Sec Ops  pipelines
* Implement integrated engineering approaches for cloud development
* Ensure security across classification levels Responsibilities:
* Design and implement cloud architectures for data aligned to warfighter needs and distributed maritime operations.
* Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures integrating edge nodes and cloud environments.
* Lead containerization, orchestration, and microservice transition of data source services, RAS critical mission enablers, and data distribution capabilities.
* Architect solutions across multi-classification environments (TS/SCI, SECRET, UNCLASS), including cloud-based cross-domain considerations.
* Implement and optimize Dev Sec Ops  pipelines (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated security scanning).
* Ensure compliance with DoD cloud standards (ILs 4, 5 & 6+), Zero Trust, and RMF requirements.
* Collaborate with AI/ML and data teams to increase efficiency
* Support cloud deployments across environments such as AWS Gov Cloud, Azure Government, on-prem, tactical, and on-platform compute.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and stakeholders.
