- Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Work closely with data engineering, analytics, and governance teams
- Act as a bridge between business concepts and technical implementation
Required Experience
- Approximately 6-12 years of experience working across data architecture, data modeling, or closely related disciplines
- Strong hands-on experience creating data models across multiple abstraction levels
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Experience designing or contributing to enterprise-scale data solutions
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality concepts
- Experience working in cloud or hybrid data environments
- Experience working within financial services or related domains
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud-based architectures
- Exposure to:
- Data warehousing and lakehouse concepts
- Dimensional modeling or similar techniques
- Master data management concepts
- Remote during the initial contract period
- Hybrid schedule anticipated upon permanent transition (combination of remote and onsite collaboration)
- Multiple geographic locations supported
- A hands-on architect who enjoys working directly with data structures
- Comfortable moving between technical design and business conversations
- Able to work in evolving environments with changing priorities
- Detail-oriented, but also able to think strategically about long-term data design
This opportunity offers the chance to play a foundational role in building and modernizing a data ecosystem that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term business growth. You'll have the ability to influence design decisions, collaborate across teams, and help shape how data is used across the organization.
