About the Role:
In a context of strong digital growth and development of multi-market e-commerce campaigns, Elsevier wishes to recruit an Assistant Chef de Produit e-commerce on an internship to strengthen the current team.
This position replaces an existing intern, based in France, working mainly on the UK/EU, EMEA, Japan and France regions, with a key role in the globalization of digital campaigns.
Cost controlled: annual cost estimated at 29K$ maximum (depending on the school and year of studies).
High business impact: excellent cost/production ratio, with real support to turnover.
Direct contribution to performance: active participation in achieving the objective of 11.2M$ in direct sales YoY.
Interns in this area provide strong business value, while being recruited for a maximum duration of 24 months.
Job Description
Reported directly to the e-Commerce Product Owner and integrated into a team of 5 people, you will actively participate in the promotion of Elsevier's product catalog on several of our 12 e-commerce sites, with the objective of growing revenue with healthcare professionals (doctors, students, nurses).
In a fully international environment, you will gradually gain autonomy, under the supervision of your apprenticeship master, on the following missions:
Responsibilities
Management of digital marketing campaigns
- Leadership and coordination of regional and local digital campaigns on several e-commerce sites
- Writing creative briefs, validation of online publications and routing control via Adobe Campaign
- Monitoring campaign performance and recommendations to optimize turnover
- Coordination between internal digital teams and external providers (data, agencies, routers, design)
Optimization of product catalog
- Animation of the e-commerce catalog and promotional offers on EMEALA & APAC sites
- Analysis of product performance and identification of axes for improving customer experience
- Contribution to SEO optimizations via Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.
E-CRM
- Participation in the definition and improvement of the digital CRM strategy
- Implementation and optimization of relational programs in line with the e-commerce customer journey
Innovation & cross-functional projects
- Contribution to cross-functional e-commerce projects:
- Product launches
- Mobile optimization
- SEO contents
- Social commerce
Work environment
This position will allow you to collaborate with many internal (Marketing, Digital, Segments, Editorial, Management…) and external (agencies, technical providers) stakeholders, while gaining a global vision of the digital marketing strategy covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia.
Required profile
- Student in a business school, digital marketing or equivalent, on an internship (24 months)
- Marked interest in e-commerce, digital marketing and performance analysis
- At ease in an international environment (professional English required)
- Organized, rigorous, curious and a force of proposal
