This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
As a Delivery Consultant in AWS Professional Services, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success throughout their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route
53, S3). - Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
- 3+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
- Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
- Proficiency with a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation).
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS Data Sync.
Base salary range for this position (annual) varies by location:
- San Diego, CA: $131,300 – $177,600
- Denver, CO: $131,300 – $177,600
- Tampa, FL: $131,300 – $177,600
- Salt Lake City, UT: $131,300 – $177,600
- Arlington, VA: $131,300 – $177,600
- Herndon, VA: $131,300 – $177,600
- Seattle, WA: $131,300 – $177,600
Compensation package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
